The iPhone Duo fold, rebuilt on a Galaxy
In three hours, Ice Universe recreated the iPhone Duo’s folding and unfolding animations on a Galaxy S26 Ultra with GPT-6 Astra. The product, here, is the motion.
Folding phones are sold on a few seconds of motion. The hinge, the way the panels meet, the little delay before the screen wakes: that is the product demo, and it is usually the part a competitor cannot casually copy.
Ice Universe did it in three hours on a Galaxy S26 Ultra, with GPT-6 Astra, matching the iPhone Duo's fold and unfold. It is not a hardware review. It is a statement about how much of a flagship's feel now lives in animation that a model can restage.
Three hours is the number that matters. Interface motion used to be a specialist's week. Here it is an afternoon, and it survives the move onto someone else's phone.
