A motion reel from a single prompt

Kenn Ejima calls it legitimately insane for one prompt: a motion-graphics reel from Claude Opus 5.5 at xhigh. Fifteen seconds, no shot list, the timing has to be the talent.

Kenn Ejima's bar is "legit insane for a single prompt," and he names the setting: Claude Opus 5.5, xhigh. The result is a motion-graphics reel, about fifteen seconds, which is exactly long enough to expose bad timing and too short to hide it in a story.

One prompt means there was no shot list to rescue the model. Type, motion and the decision to cut had to come out of the same reply. Motion design is unforgiving of averages. An average reel looks like a template. A good one looks like someone was impatient in the right places.

Put it next to the Opus-versus-Astra showreel on this site. Same job, different evidence: here there is no second model to blame. The prompt either contained a designer or it didn't.

The brief was: introduce yourself.

Kevin Ngo asked Claude Fable 5 to make its own personal website. The joke is the assignment. The page is whether the model has any taste about itself.

Same sentence. The difference is the taste.

Kirill gave Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra the same brief: a 15-second motion-design showreel, go all out. He thinks looking at Astra hurts after Opus. The pair is the point.
