Claude Fable 5 makes its own website

Kevin Ngo asked Claude Fable 5 to make its own personal website. The joke is the assignment. The page is whether the model has any taste about itself.

The assignment is a trap. "Make your own personal website" forces a model to pick a voice, a layout and a theory of what it is, with no client to hide behind. Kevin Ngo handed that to Claude Fable 5.

Personal sites fail in a specific way: a hero, three cards, a gradient, nothing anyone would bookmark. The interesting outcome is not that Fable can emit HTML. It is whether the page has a point of view about its own name.

One prompt, one identity. If the site looks like every other model demo, the joke is on the assignment. If it doesn't, the taste was in the model.

Same sentence. The difference is the taste.

Kirill gave Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra the same brief: a 15-second motion-design showreel, go all out. He thinks looking at Astra hurts after Opus. The pair is the point.

The hinge is the whole film.

Ann Nguyen asked Claude Opus 5.5 for a CD jewel case with an open-lid animation. No 3D model. three.js and shaders, and she stopped because there was nothing left to ask for.
