Every frame of this was drawn in JavaScript
Kevin Ngo had Claude Opus 5 draw every frame of an animation in JavaScript. There is no clip to generate. The picture is the program, evaluated over time.
Kevin Ngo's sentence is a production credit: Claude Opus 5 drew every frame of this animation using JavaScript. Not a video model sampled into frames. A program whose output is the frames.
That swaps the usual failure mode. Generated video drifts because nothing is keeping the picture honest between seconds. Code drifts when the idea is too big for the program, but it cannot accidentally invent a new face in frame 40 — unless the program says so. Consistency is structural.
"Every frame" is also a warning against cheating with one looped hero shot. If the motion changes, the code changed. The animation is worth watching as a drawing that happens to be text.
