One person shipped a game to Steam in four months
Four months from nothing to a store page and a released game, built solo with AI assistance.
Demos are cheap; releases are not. Shipping means a store page, a build that runs on hardware you have never touched, a trailer, a price, and a decision about when it is good enough — and that last one has ended more solo projects than any technical problem.
Four months is a serious timeline for one person to cover all of it. Note that the video is eight minutes: this is a release walkthrough, not a clip engineered for a timeline.
The interesting thing here is not that AI made a game. It is that the surrounding work — the pages, the copy, the packaging — is exactly the kind of thing that stops solo developers, and it is now tractable.
