Same biking brief, $0.14 versus $2.21

Hassan gave GLM 5.3 and Claude Fable 5 the same prompt: a 3D biking website. GLM nailed it for $0.14. Fable cost $2.21 and, this time, lost.

Hassan ran one prompt through two models and put them side by side. A 3D biking website. GLM 5.3 on the left, Claude Fable 5 on the right. GLM nailed it. Fable did not. The bill was $0.14 against $2.21, more than fifteen times cheaper for the one that worked.

A single comparison is not a leaderboard. It is a receipt for one brief, on one day, with the outputs visible. That is more useful than a benchmark table, because a biking site is something you can watch fail: the road, the bike, the scroll, the sense that a page was designed.

The interesting number is the small one. A model that costs cents can win a taste test against a model that costs dollars, and the clip is the only way to believe which side won.

This model is insane at 3D website design. I asked GLM 5.3 (left) & Fable 5 (right) to make me a 3d biking website. GLM nailed it while Fable failed. GLM cost $0.14 while Fable cost $2.21. More than 15x cheaper while being even better in this case! https://t.co/70TYUFv90s

The brief was: introduce yourself.

Kevin Ngo asked Claude Fable 5 to make its own personal website. The joke is the assignment. The page is whether the model has any taste about itself.

Same sentence. The difference is the taste.

Kirill gave Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra the same brief: a 15-second motion-design showreel, go all out. He thinks looking at Astra hurts after Opus. The pair is the point.
