A whole website from one reference image

The Bugged Dev vibe-coded a full site from a single design reference with Kimi K3. SVGs, generated images, animation, and a responsive layout came with the pages.

The Bugged Dev's claim is about the front of the stack. One design reference image, Kimi K3, and a whole website: SVGs, generated images, animations, a responsive layout.

A reference image is a brutal spec because it does not explain itself. Spacing, type, and what should move are all implied. Hitting them from a picture, including the assets the picture only suggests, is a different task from naming a subject and asking for a landing page.

The post calls this the beginning of the end of building UI by hand. The clip is what that sentence has to live up to. Watch whether the motion and the breakpoints feel designed.

I genuinely think we're watching the beginning of the end of manually building frontend UIs ☠️ I vibe coded this entire website from a single design reference image using Kimi K3. It handled SVGs, generated images, nailed animations, and built responsive layouts with far less https://t.co/5X90W8CvoD

The brief was: introduce yourself.

Kevin Ngo asked Claude Fable 5 to make its own personal website. The joke is the assignment. The page is whether the model has any taste about itself.

Same sentence. The difference is the taste.

Kirill gave Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra the same brief: a 15-second motion-design showreel, go all out. He thinks looking at Astra hurts after Opus. The pair is the point.
