Codex reached for Remotion and shipped a cut
Kashiko asked what Codex had just handed over. The answer was Remotion: a video that skipped modeling, lighting, and materials. Seedance 2.5 then finished the shot.
Kashiko did not ask for Remotion. Codex produced a file and, in effect, said to use it. Asked what it was, the model answered that it had built the piece in Remotion.
The detour matters because of what it skips. Modeling, lighting, materials — the setup that makes Blender, OpenGL, and Three.js slower for this kind of motion. Remotion is a video made of React. A coding agent treating it as the obvious tool is the surprise.
The clip on screen took one more step. Kashiko fed that output into Seedance 2.5. The chain is the feature: an agent that picked its own renderer, and a video model that finished the shot.

https://t.co/6gBTEdKIFM
