Direction only, no script — and out came visuals plus a score

Generating an image is unremarkable now. Generating a picture and a score that agree with each other, from one brief, is a different kind of thing.

Sound and image usually come from two different people who negotiate. Here a single process produced both, which is why the result feels coherent in a way that is hard to fake — the pacing of the cuts and the phrasing of the music were decided together, because they were decided by the same pass.

Whether that is better than two specialists is not the question yet. The question is that it is now possible at all.
