A Blender-style editor, built inside Codex

Ring Hyacinth was laying out a 3D AI game by prompting, which is a bad way to nudge a prop. Codex also built the editor: select, move, scale, rotate.

Ring Hyacinth was building a small AI game in Codex and hit the obvious wall: a 3D layout is miserable to adjust by describing it. "A little to the left" is not a coordinate.

So the same agent built the missing tool. An editor, in the spirit of Blender, where you can select an asset and move, scale and rotate it. The post's surprise is that Codex did this easily, as a side task of the game it was already writing.

The interesting part is the loop. When prompting is the wrong interface, the model can be asked for a better interface, and then you stop prompting that part.

The brief was: introduce yourself.

Kevin Ngo asked Claude Fable 5 to make its own personal website. The joke is the assignment. The page is whether the model has any taste about itself.

Same sentence. The difference is the taste.

Kirill gave Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra the same brief: a 15-second motion-design showreel, go all out. He thinks looking at Astra hurts after Opus. The pair is the point.
