A beat ’em up mode, still a question

Alex is testing whether a beat ’em up belongs next to the arcade, versus and online modes of his AI-built fighter. GPT-6 Astra and three.js. The clip is the test.

last week

Alex is not announcing a mode. He is testing one. A beat 'em up, possibly, beside the arcade, versus and online modes of the fighting game he has been building with GPT-6 Astra and three.js.

That framing is rarer than a launch. A side-scrolling brawler and a one-on-one fighter share a punch and almost nothing else: camera, crowd, how a hit connects to forward motion. The clip exists so he can watch the difference and decide.

The post reads like a note to himself that happened to be public. The decision is still open. The footage is the evidence on the table.

I’m doing some tests to see if I should add a Beat ’em Up mode to the game, alongside the Arcade, Versus, and Online modes. https://t.co/lU2KeTTXfl

Sixteen days, and every planet is a place.

Sac spent 16 days with Claude Opus 5.5, Tripo and Blender turning each planet in The Little Prince into an explorable 3D scene. This is the original behind the five-hour remake already on this site.
