A house you can X-ray, from slab to finished
Techartist built an interactive Three.js house with Opus 5.5 and WebGPU. Stages run from foundation to finished, and an X-ray shows plumbing, power, and air.
A finished house is a picture. A house with its stages still attached is an explanation. Techartist built one in Three.js and WebGPU with Opus 5.5: foundation, skeleton, systems, envelope, finished.
The X-ray is the feature. Plumbing, power, and air are the parts a render usually deletes so the kitchen can look nice. Leaving them in, and letting a visitor turn them on, turns a pretty model into a section drawing you can walk around.
Interactive cutaways used to arrive with a legend and a client. Here the legend is the camera.
