Raptor engines, roughed out in Blender with Grok
DogeDesigner has been modeling rough SpaceX Raptor engines in Blender with Grok 4.7. They are early. The jump in detail is why the post exists.
A rocket engine is a hostile subject for a rough model. Tubes have to go somewhere, bells have to be round, and anyone who has seen a Raptor will notice a lie. DogeDesigner has been building those rough models in Blender with Grok 4.7, and the post is about the quality jump, not a finished CAD deliverable.
He is careful: still early, details coming together. That caution is what makes the clip credible. Hard-surface work usually gets shown only when it is brochure-clean. Here you are invited to look at the stage where the engine starts to be an engine.
Grok plus Blender is the whole stack he names. The Raptor is the exam.

Grok 4.7 works really well with Blender. I’ve been using them to create these rough Raptor engine 3D models, and the improvement in quality is huge. They’re still early versions, but the details are already coming together beautifully. https://t.co/sF4FZbWbey
