A blank model, textured by projection, then baked
Alex asked GPT-6 Astra to texture an untextured model with ImageGen projections, then bake those projections into real textures. It worked on the first try, in three.js.
Alex put an untextured model in a three.js scene and asked GPT-6 Astra to do something specific: use ImageGen projections to paint it, then bake those projections into actual textures. It worked on the first try.
Projection is a photographer's trick. Bake is a technical artist's chore. Stringing them together means the picture is not a sticker floating in front of the mesh. It becomes a texture the model owns.
"I just discovered something new" is the right caption for a pipeline step that used to be a day of UV work, tried once, and kept.

🚨I just discovered something new with Astra + ImageGen and @threejs ! I placed an untextured 3D model in the scene and asked Astra to use ImageGen projections to texture the model, then bake those projections into actual textures and it worked on the very first try! I feel https://t.co/3Ew0WW4O3L
