Astra builds the street, then cuts the breakdown
Hirokazu Yokohara handed GPT-6 Astra a photo. It modeled the street in Blender on its own and edited its own breakdown. He says the quality is still rough — and that hand-built 3D just blinked.
Hirokazu Yokohara waited until everyone else had already played hype-man for GPT-6 Astra, then tried it. He gave it an image. It modeled a street background in Blender by itself and edited its own breakdown. His verdict is the useful kind: the quality is still no good, and even so it felt like the start of 3D that is not made by hand.
The breakdown is the tell. A model that only returns a final frame can hide how it got there. A model that cuts the explode-view is showing its work, including the bad parts. He leaves those in.
Distrust plus a file is more interesting than awe plus a video. The street is rough. The change he is pointing at is who is allowed to open Blender.
